Online learning technology requirements
Non-coding programs
Meeting the technical specifications will help to ensure success in completing course requirements.
Computer running Windows 10 or higher, or macOS, with at least 4 GB of RAM
Webcam (minimum 640 × 480 resolution; 1280 × 720 recommended)
Microphone (built-in microphones are acceptable)
Reliable high-speed internet connection (10–15 Mbps minimum)
Speakers or headphones, the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Office, and Adobe PDF Reader
Full stack development program
Students must have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Linux not supported) that is less than three years old, with an i7–i9 processor (2.3 GHz or higher), 8–16 GB of RAM, and a 500 GB hard drive (SSD strongly preferred). Windows 11 or macOS is recommended.
Chromebooks do not meet these requirements and are not supported.
An additional monitor is required to follow coursework effectively while coding (a curved screen is recommended). Students must also have access to a webcam and microphone for remote sessions, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 10–15 Mbps.
*Students are responsible for meeting all technology requirements. Failure to do so may prevent completion of coursework and can result in a failing grade or academic probation.
